It has been already 7 months since adaptivePlay was launched. I enjoy so much adapting the toys so that children with special needs can play with it.
Sometimes I search on Youtube.com for videos of children playing with switch adapted toys and it is a great feeling to see their faces when they play…it’s a great feeling to be a part of it!
As an Early Interventionist, I have worked with many families who did not know what types of toys their children could play with. If their fine motor skills were not sufficient enough to play and manipulate the toys, parents simply did not buy any toys for them. I try to educate parents and show them that their children CAN PLAY TOO.
