Hi friends of adaptivePlay,
This is it, there is no way back…I now have a blog! I am super excited to use this platform as a way of promoting the integration of Play into more traditional therapeutic methods.
As an early intervention specialist, I have used switch-adapted toys and other interactive toys to encourage my students (and their parents) to adhere to the therapy that is SO crucial to their progress. I believe that therapy does not need to be boring and that there are a lot of ways of getting children to have fun while improving their capabilities.
I would also like to invite everyone to be dynamically involved in this blog. I would like to share my experience, but I mostly would like to hear from you so that we can all collectively learn from each other.
